What is LEAP?

LEAP, also known as the Learning, Enrichment, Activities & Performance Program through Traverse City Area Public Schools, provides educational opportunities for Kindergarten through 12th grade students. LEAP offers a varity of enrichment activities focusing on art, performance, STEM, athletics & more. It is the vision of LEAP to provide students with increased opportunities for engagement beyond the school day through educational and recreational activities to improve student belonging, health and wellness. Programs goals include 1) ensuring access to available programming for every student committing to participate in LEAP activities, and 2) creating a positive learning environment in which participants, instructors, coaches, parents, and spectators demonstrate mutual respect and the highest degree of integrity at all times.
