Elementary Basketball is open to boys and girls in 2nd - 5th grade. Girls basketball is during the Fall, boys 4th-5th begin in the Winter, and 2nd-3rd meet in the Spring.
Elementary Cross-Country is open to boys and girls in 3rd - 5th grade. The season begins in September and will run for six weeks.
Elementary Flag Football is open to boys and girls in 2nd - 5th grade. The season begins on Monday, September 18th and will run for five weeks.
Elementary Tennis is open to boys and girls in 2nd - 5th grade. The season begins in May and will run for four-five weeks.
Elementary Track & Field is open to boys and girls in 4th - 5th grade. The season begins in April and will run for six weeks.
Elementary Volleyball is open to boys and girls in 4th - 5th grade. The season begins in February and will run for five - six weeks.
Elementary Cross-Country is open to boys and girls in Kindergarten - 5th grade. The season begins in January and will run for six weeks.
Middle School Basketball is open to students in 6th - 8th grade. Boys basketball begins in October, and Girls Basketball begins in January.
Middle School Cross-Country is open to students in 6th - 8th grade. Cross-Country begins in August, and will run for nine weeks.
Middle School Football is open to students in 7th - 8th grade. The season begins in August and will run for approximately nine weeks.
Middle School Girls Volleyball is open to students in 6th - 8th grade. The season begins in August and will run for approximately eight weeks.
Middle School Sideline Cheer is open to students in 6th - 8th grade. Fall Season coincides with 7th - 8th grade Football, begins in August & runs for approximately 9 weeks. The Winter Season coincides with Boys Basketball & runs approximately 8 weeks.
Middle School Girls Softball is open to students in 6th - 8th grade. The season begins in April and runs for approximately eight weeks.
Middle School Tennis is open to students in 6th - 8th grade. Tennis brings students together in teams to play singles, doubles, and mixed doubles against other teams. Middle school tennis is six weeks in length and will begin in April.
Middle School Track & Field is open to students in 6th - 8th grade. The eight week season begins in April.
Middle School Wrestling is open to students in 6th - 8th grade. The nine - ten week season will begin in January.

This one-time workshop is designed to help kids connect with new friends, build confidence, and develop important life skills through fun activities! It’s a wonderful way for your child to make new social connections, strengthen their self-esteem, and create lasting memories before the holiday season begins.

What is an SEL group?
SEL groups provide students with opportunities to make new friends and enhance social/emotional skills through creative, meaningful activities.
Why are SEL groups important?
In addition to just plain being fun, these groups teach important life long skills. Research shows that social and emotional competencies lead to positive student outcomes that are important for success inschool and in life!
Program Details and Cost: The cost of this program will be $45 per student. The cost will cover the cost of a light snack, art materials, and the facilitator's time. While all students may enjoy and benefit from these experiences, BRIDGE are particularly helpful for students wanting to create new friendships, practice positive social skills and build confidence.
How do I register?
Please register by clicking the enroll now button at the top right of this page. A minimum of 10 students is required for the workshop to run. In the event of low enrollment, you will be contacted regarding a refund in full. Early registration is suggested as each group is capped at 45 students. Additional groups may be added based on interest.
Kari L. de Boer, LPC, ATR, RYT
Kari is a registered art therapist, counselor, and registered yoga teacher whose work centers on holistic healing and creative expression. Her background includes developing art therapy programs in hospital and community settings, teaching mindfulness and yoga, and supporting youth in educational environments such as the Boys & Girls Club, Head Start, and Interlochen Arts Academy. Kari brings a warm, inclusive approach that encourages each student to discover their strengths and develop healthy coping skills for life inside and outside the classroom.
Kristin Sulecki, LMSW Kristin is a fully licensed social worker with extensive training and experience, operating a solo practice working with children, adolescents, college students, and adults at the CenterPointe Building in Traverse City. She is committed to authentic therapeutic relationships, meaningful sessions, and positive change. Kristin has enjoyed teaching social work at the associate and graduate levels, presenting at conferences, supervising interns, and coaching school mental health professionals across the state. She has worked with all ages as a home-based counselor and as a private therapist, but the bulk of her career was as a general education elementary school social worker for 25 years. Students knew Kristin as a “peace teacher” and pronounced her name “Mrs. So Lucky.” She is an advocate for social-emotional learning and is passionate about creating connections through groups and games.
Crystal Duncan, LMSW Crystal Duncan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is the founder of Calming Connections Counseling Services. She offers online therapy across Michigan and in-person sessions inTraverse City. With a warm, nurturing approach, she specializes in supporting clients facing anxiety, ADHD, depression, and life transitions. Crystal has worked as a school social worker in multiple local schools, providing support to Special Education students with identified needs in social-emotional learning. She has helped students build skills through classroom support, small groups, and one-on-one sessions. Her client-centered approach creates a safe, compassionate space where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
