    WHO: TCAPS West Middle School (WMS) students (Grades 6-8) WHAT: Ready for some adventures to break up the winter doldrums? Do you love the outdoors or trying new things? Join us for 4 Thursdays of fun from late February up until Spring Break, when we will go sledding, explore wildlife along the Buffalo Ridge Trail, go rock-climbing at Elev8, and enjoy an “underwater” film with Sleeping Bear Dunes park rangers. NOTE: For Feb. 26 and March 5, students need to bring appropriate gear for outdoor winter adventures: snowpants, winter jacket, boots, hats, and gloves. (For March 12 and March 19, outdoor gear won’t be necessary.) WHERE: For Feb. 26, March 5, and March 19, students will meet immediately after school in the WMS Library; parents will pick up in front of the school @ 4:15. NOTE: For March 12 (an early release day), parents will drop off @ 3 pm and pick up at 5:15 pm @ Elev8 Climbing Gym, 777 Boyd Ave.) WHEN: Thurs, Feb. 26 @ 2:45 - 4:15 (WMS) Thurs, March 5 @ 2:45 - 4:15 (WMS) Thurs, March 12 @ 3:00 - 5:15 pm (parent drop-off and pick-up at Elev8 Climbing Gym) Thurs, March 19 @ 2:45 - 4:15 (WMS) COST: $25.00 per student. The cost of registration covers all activities, including a 1.5-hour climbing session at Elev8. REQUIRED FORM: At Elev8, everyone in the facility is required to have a valid liability waiver on file. Anyone under 18 must have theirs completed by a parent/guardian. Those not climbing also require a waiver. HERE is the link. Questions?
