TC West Spring Volleyball Clinics

The TC West Volleyball program is planning to host a series of Saturday Clinics this spring! Athletes will be instructed by current TCW coaching staff and players.

Clinic Schedule & Skills Focus

• April 25th: Setting/Offense/Defense
• May 9th: Serving / Serve Receive / Game Play
• May 30th: 6 on 6 tournament

Session Times & Grade Levels

April 25 & May 9th will be split into two age-appropriate sessions:

• Elementary (Grades K-5th): 8:00 AM – 9:45 AM
• Middle School (Grades 6th-8th): 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

May 30th will run from 8:00 AM - 3:00  PM for all teams. Exact Schedules TBD.

• Gym opens at 8am with gameplay starting at 9am
• You will be guaranteed 3 games
• Depending on the # of teams signed up will guide the format
  • Either round robin style with finals being determined by record
  • Pool play followed by bracket play 
• Each team is welcome/encouraged to have a parent or coach lead the team. Alternatively, WSH would be happy to pair your team with one of our players for the day. 

Registration Details

• Saturday Clinics: Individual Registration - $50 per clinic/per student
• 6 on 6 Tournament: Team Registration - $150.00 per team ($25 per player)
  • 2nd and 3rd grade
  • 4th and 5th grade
  • 6th and 7th grade
  • 8th grade 

Team Registration/Format: 

• Divisions are formed by grades/ages. Each team must be composed of players from the same grade or grades below. When forming divisions, teams will be placed based on the highest grade/age of any team member. If there are not enough teams in a division to form a bracket, teams will be moved up to the next available division.
• Team rosters may not be changed once the first game has been played. Teams must be composed of 6 players. Due to registration system limitations, each team should register for the correct division (registration links below) by a team member of the appropriate grade (i.e. a team of 3rd and 4th grade girls should be registered by the parent of a 4th grade girl and will play in the 4-5 division). If a team needs to be registered by a younger player/player of a different gender, please call our office at 231-933-7480 and we can assist you.
• If your team needs a coach to lead their team, please indicate "HS Player Needed" when prompted for Coach Name. Please include a parent's contact information under Coach Email and Cell Phone so we can keep you updated when schedules are released.

Location: Traverse City West Senior High School Gymnasium

What to bring: Players should bring a positive attitude, athletic shoes, knee pads and a water bottle.
